Cancer Awareness

If all the clouds should roll away,
The shadows flee;
O'er present grieves we would not fret,
Each sorrow we would soon forget,
For many joys are waiting yet
For you and me.

If we could know beyond today
As God doth know
Why dearest treasures pass away,
And tears must flow;
And why the darkness leads to light,
Why dreary days will soon grow bright,
Some day life's wrong will be made right,
Faith tells us so.

If we could see, if we could know
we often say,
But God in love a veil doth throw
across our way.
We cannot see what lies before,
And so we cling to Him the more,
He leads us till this life is o'er,
Trust and obey.

In Loving Memory

Many of us have known at least one person who has been lost to Cancer.
My Oldest Sister Nancy lost the battle of
Lung Cancer(Which spread) April 27, 2006
I also lost a Cousin and My Aunt to Lung Cancer
My Aunt to Breast Cancer

Cancer is a horrible and debilitating disease. Enough is not being done to find cures so that our family and friend and loved ones can survive.
And for a lovely Women that I never had the pleasure of meeting, but have chatted with her sister Tara and her Cousin Donna Sue.
Tonya who lost her battle with Breast Cancer May 2007, this was not Tonya's first battle with cancer. She left behind 3 children, a grand child and loving family and friends. Her battle with Breast Cancer touched my heart after the loss of my Sister. A friend asked if I would stop by and leave messages on MySpace and say prayers for Tonya. I am so glad I did, she was a beautiful and loving person and was loved and cared by so many.
She like all the rest will be "Never Be Forgotten" for they left footprints on our hearts.
Early detection is very important.
Ladies please get your Mammograms done.
I had one in November and it was actually so much more comfortable. Sure there was a little discomfort, but not like it use to be. It is well worth it to feel the relief that you are cancer free.
Men or Women or those at risk. If you are over 40, remember to have a colon screening and a colonoscopy. I have had them and there is nothing to them.
And for men have your selves checked as well.
Take the time and have the tests done that are needed so that you can you can rest assured that you are cancer free. Also take the time to learn more about this deadly and at times very silent disease by clicking on the links below.
